Traffic areas on soft soil foundations are prone to deformation under dynamic vehicle loads. One of the most effective and widely used techniques in traffic engineering is to use geosynthetic materials below and in the middle of the aggregate layer to absorb traffic loads and distribute them to the roadbed.
